Getting at least 30 minutes a day to be outdoors is proven to boost the happy chemicals in your brain. Yes, yes we literally have chemicals in our head and throughout our bodies that get released and trigger feelings. Without properly feeding these happy chemicals: dopamine, oxytocin, serotonin and our endorphins with anticipation, adventure and physical interactions, we leave ourselves feeling empty and drained.
And really, if we are depriving our bodies of these chemicals, we are truly drained. No wonder ????
So get outside today! Enjoy the sunshine, or the rain, depending on where you are! Whether you like to walk, run, bike, hike, play with your pet, your lover or friend, take pictures or garden, there is plenty to do and be enjoyed outside today and every day.
